Our focus areas:

As an independent, self-funded organisation, the Rob Fairs Foundation puts a high value on its ability to be flexible in regard to how support is allocated and where efforts are targeted. Which organisations, programs and individuals that the Foundation commits funding and focus to will vary depending on the current challenges and the needs of our communities. Wherever possible, it is the Foundation's intention to collaborate with existing organisations who are already doing amazing work and complement, not duplicate, the work that is currently being undertaken.

The provision of education and employment opportunities

The Rob Fairs Foundation aims to increase employment opportunities and provide community connections by creating and supporting vocational and work experience placements.

The support of access to outreach programs

Through the ongoing development of  relationships & fundraising initiatives  the Rob Fairs Foundation will seek to increase access to relevant & targeted  outreach programs - a vital stage in the successful delivery of restorative justice services to young offenders.

The provision of respite for those caring for Tasmania’s disadvantaged youth

The lack of regular and timely relief for carers can often accelerate the breakdown of the relationship between the individual and the carer.  The Rob Fairs Foundation will work with community partners to create respite opportunities for those in need of some valuable time for self.

The support of re-engagement with the education community

The Rob Fairs Foundation aims to support young people who are living in out-of-home care arrangements, who are finding it difficult to re-engage with school in order to maintain connections with communities.

If you are open to assisting us on our journey to support Tasmania’s disadvantaged youth, we would very much welcome your support.
